Directions

From the Heinrich Hueter Hut the first section of this stage leads you to the Alpine guesthouse Rellstal. After a half-hour ascent, it continues leisurely over Platzisalpe to Außergolm. Follow the signpost Golm top station to Grüneck. From the top station, follow the signpost Lindauer Hut for about ten minutes. The hiking trail then leads you down to the left to Matschwitz. You reach the namesake summer maize pasture with views of the surrounding peaks of the Rätikon. From there, the path leads past the Matschwitz chapel over the Golmer Alpweg down to Latschau.
